Wakatobi - December 2003
| In southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia is a group of four
islands. On the second to last in the chain is the diving resort of
Wakatobi. The SCUBA
diving here is unmatched in the world! The concentration of fish, creature
and coral life is greater than in any other destination. We spent 10 days
diving there as part of a month long southeast Asia trip. In the gallery
links below you will find a sampling of some of the underwater images I was able
to capture. Note that these are all un-edited and un-cropped i.e. raw
images. In many of them you may be wondering what you are looking at.
I have not had the time to detail the fish and creature life in each image.
Many of the critters are very rare and only found in this part of the world.
